The All Inclusive Resort Melia Caribe Tropical is the newest resort
of Punta Cana. It offers 1,044 Deluxe Junior Suites in all. The complex
spans 500,000 m2 on the shore of the eastern tip of the Dominican
Republic, with only 145,000 m2 built, and surrounded by palm trees
and lush vegetation. The resort is ideal for families, golfers, weddings,
as well as meetings and conventions.
Punta Cana International Airport is 20 minutes away, Higuey 25 miles,
La Romana 56 miles, and the capital, Santo Domingo, is 121 miles far

The resort comprises 44 two-story bungalows with a total of 1,044
lavishly appointed Deluxe Junior Suites. Each bungalow offers 2 connecting
rooms, one with a king size bed and the other with 2 twin beds.
All suites include a living room with sofa-bed and chair, a terrace
or balcony, fully equipped kitchenette, full bathroom, air conditioning,
in-room safe, satellite TV, telephone with internet access. These
have a total of 214.6 square feet (1 bedroom suites) and 256 square
feet (2 bedrooms suites).

CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS
Now when you vacation at Meli Caribe Tropical, your children will
have just as much fun as you will, maybe more! Just imagine a park
created just for kids, with fun activities, imaginative games and
a chance to hang out with The Flintstones.

Baby Rock is for infants and toddlers and this club includes a sleeping
area, kitchen and bathroom adapted to their size. (Childcare is available
for babies at an extra cost.) Toddlers can participate in fun activities
like arts & crafts, fantasy make-up, imaginative games, costumes,
music workshops, puzzles, movies, storytime, sensory stimulation and
more.

Members of the Bamm-Bamm Club have their own game room and playground.
Bamm-Bamm members participate in a variety of imaginative and stimulating
activities, including pool games, camping, T-shirt painting, balloon
art, even costume and magic workshops.
9 to 13 years.
The Cool Club is for older children and features competitive outdoor
activities such as pool games, camping, workshops and sports. At The
Flintstones Land even mealtimes are an
adventure. Kids can start the day by having Bronto Breakfast with
Fred and Dino. For lunch there are 2 choices and both offer delicious
and nutritious meals. Betty's Kitchen is the
ultimate mealtime hangout. The kid-friendly Flintstones dcor, designed
by Betty herself, combined with tasty treats and a fun atmosphere,
makes this unique eatery feel like
home... but here, drawing on the tablecloths is encouraged!
And at Fred's Bronto Burger, kids can sample a delicious Brontosaurus
Hamburger.
